Help, answers, and how to reach a human.
Unlike is a logic puzzle. Every cell is either solid or outlined. A number counts how many cells directly above, below, left and right are unlike that numbered cell. Diagonals do not count. Fill every unknown cell and satisfy every number. Every board has exactly one solution, and every solution can be reached by pure deduction. You never have to guess.
Playing
I am stuck
How to play is available while playing and in Settings. It explains the rule without clearing your board. Hint points out a useful clue; Explain explains the deduction, and Place it fills the suggested cell. These are stages of one hint.
Check tells you whether your placed cells contain a mistake and how many cells remain. Check does not cost hints or stars. A solve without hints or assisted moves earns three stars; one or two hints without assisted moves earns two; three hints or any assisted move earns one. Every solve unlocks the next level, whatever the star count.
Numbers turn red
With clue feedback on, a number shows a warning when the current choices cannot satisfy it. A satisfied clue fades, or shows a checkmark when High contrast is on. This feedback describes that clue, not whether every cell on the board is correct. Undo as far back as you need, or use Reset to clear the board and keep the puzzle.
The first three levels have clue feedback on while you learn. After level 3, you can keep it on; the same preference is available in Check options.
I want to learn the rules properly
The tutorial on the home screen teaches the rule on small interactive boards. It can be replayed at any time. The playing guide is also available from the board and Settings.
Levels, the daily board, and free play
The level ladder is identical on every device — level 40 is the same puzzle for everyone. The daily board rolls over at your local midnight, and everyone playing on the same calendar date gets the same board. Free play generates an endless supply at whichever difficulty you pick.
The daily board on this website is its own puzzle, separate from the app’s daily board, so you can play both.
Purchases
Restoring what you bought
Purchases are tied to your Apple Account, so a new device or a reinstall can get them back at no cost. Tap Restore purchases at the bottom of the Store. This restores everything you own — ad removal, individual themes, and the theme bundle.
A purchase did not unlock
Try Restore first; it fixes almost every case, including a purchase that was interrupted. If it still does not appear, email me with the date of the purchase and I will sort it out.
Refunds
All purchases go through Apple, so refunds do too. Use reportaproblem.apple.com — I have no way to issue a refund myself.
Progress and data
How progress is saved
Your progress saves automatically on this device. An unfinished board can be resumed from Home. Settings → Progress shows the local save status and whether iCloud sync is available. You do not need to create an Unlike account.
When iCloud sync is available, completed levels, stars, best times and earned themes can travel between devices using the same iCloud account. Your unfinished board and preferences stay on this device. Sync can be delayed or unavailable; keep playing offline and use Check / resume iCloud sync to retry.
Deleting the app removes the local copy. Only progress already synced to iCloud can be recovered through sync. Purchases are restored separately through Apple.
If the iCloud account changes, Unlike asks which progress to use. Choosing the current account’s progress backs up the previous local save before replacing active completed progress and clearing the unfinished board. You can instead keep playing with this device’s progress and pause sync.
Starting over
Settings → Reset game progress clears levels, stars, times, earned themes and your unfinished board. Purchases and preferences remain. When iCloud sync is active, the reset also syncs to your other devices.
Ads and tracking
The free version may show a full-screen ad after a completed puzzle. Automatic ads do not interrupt a puzzle, and the first three campaign levels have no completion ads. If you run out of hints during a puzzle, you can choose to watch a rewarded ad for one extra hint. Watching is optional; you can dismiss the offer and keep playing. Before ads begin, iOS may ask whether you allow tracking: declining changes nothing about the game, only whether the ads are personalised. You can change that answer any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Buying Remove Ads ends advertising permanently.
Accessibility
Unlike supports Dynamic Type throughout, and every cell is labelled for VoiceOver with its position, state, clue, and whether that clue is satisfied. In Settings there is a high contrast option that strengthens the difference between solid and outlined cells, and a reduce motion option that removes animation. If something is still hard to use, tell me — that is worth fixing.
Contact
Use Share feedback in Settings or while playing. After your first completion of level 2, a quiet invitation also appears on the results card. It is optional and does not affect stars or access to levels. Your feedback is private, not an App Store review. You can edit the email before sending it. If Mail is not set up, you can copy the feedback and the email address instead.
Bugs, questions, ideas, or a board that seems wrong: vinicioscunha1@gmail.com. It is one person answering, so give it a day or two. For a puzzle that looks unsolvable, include the level number — that alone is enough for me to reproduce it exactly.
